It snowed over the weekend of 12.19.09 and it was suppose to be over 12 inches of snow.I didn’t even know it snowed that much since I was in the Summit and there were employees who were cleaning up the snow every few hours. The campus was plowed thoroughly so that cars and people can walk on the streets and sidewalks. A couple of the resident assistants and I got together to play in the snow on Saturday night to enjoy the snow. We tackled each other into the soft white fluff and I tried to make a sled out of a pizza box. That didn’t work too well. We eventually used the pizza box as a Frisbee for rugby. It is fun to play rugby in the snow because it is soft and it dampens our injuries.
My father asked me why I didn’t come home to shovel the snow on Sunday. I had the best excuse since I didn’t know how much it snowed on campus. This is the first year I didn’t have to shovel! My friends came over on Monday and they were complaining of how sore they are from shoveling and how they can’t find parking because of the snow. I had no worries though. Thanks Summit. I can’t wait, 6 more days until Christmas and 12 more days till the New Years.
