dia primero de escuela

before we even get into things, i must let it be known how excited i am that one of my favorite artists, Lupe Fiasco is coming back out. I was actually listening to his latest mixtape “Enemy of the State” as i reentered the Queens College community!

the song he did for the “New Moon” soundtrack actually makes me want to go see that movie. i guess it has served its purpose well.

today was the first official day of classes and i woke up to see snow falling from the sky and sticking to the ground. well, to be honest, i woke up about three times before officially rising up to get my day started.

Gym session at 6am? Nah, skipped it. Push ups in my room at 7am since i missed my gym session? Nah, my eyes were too heavy. Any more excuses to go back to bed at 9:20 am? No chance. I had a Bible Study session at 11am. i don’t miss those for something as petty as sleep.

this week has been my “Bible boot camp gauntlet” test. i meet with a few of my brothers in Christ and i basically get schooled on the ins and outs of becoming a true follower of Jesus Christ. One would think that just reading scriptures wouldnt tire “an athletic” guy like me out but man…the emotional aspect of self analyzing and perception is wearing me down but i shall persist!

Thursdays are a pretty dope day for me in regards to my class schedule. i have acting 4 with the amazing Claudia Feldstein from 1:40- 4:30 and Dean/Dr. Joe Bertolino from 5-7:20pm so that’s ALLLLLL GOOOOOOOOOOD :-D

we shall see what this semester brings…

peace
