Just thought I would write a really quick post about some upcoming AAPICs events.^^ These are really important seminars meant to stimulate discussion and ideas about what kind of academic curriculum and courses should be devised for the new Asian American Pacific Island Community Studies minor at Queens College. Unfortunately these events are only open to faculty so students cannot attend but if anyone has ideas they want to contribute regarding the seminar discussions topics I would be happy to pass them on. But any professors who are free during these times should really try and come because we are all working very hard to develop a comprehensive and interdisciplinary program.
