Dear Childlike, Wildlife,
I have finally made the decision to start doing things that make me happy. Actually, more like doing things that make me ecstatic, jumping for joy, looking like a fool happy. Today I started by registering for Ceramics II, Painting and Photography. I cannot wait!! If I had money, I would have started with Painting over the summer, but TAP and financial aid don’t pay for summer or winter courses. Somebody change that…!
Also, there is a very good chance I will be making my way back to the motherland this summer. A lovely 6-7 weeks on the beach in Greece sounds very tempting and AMAZING. One problem: where to stay and with whom? There are many options, which naturally makes things so much more confusing. I am also thinking that since it has been 4 YEARS since my last visit (that is a looooooong time) I may also visit other European countries. I am giddy writing all of this now.
But, (there is always a but) first I must complete another semester. Bio midterm #2 is later tonight, and I have my first experience with a poster presentation ( I am overdue, I know) at NEURON next Saturday. Tomorrow I will be at the Graduate Center watching others present their work, so at least I can get an idea there. I am actually quite nervous about that. I don’t feel prepared. At all.
That is all for now!
Love, Voula
P.S. I have attached a photo of my work in ceramics studio. It is a shoe, isn’t it wonderful!
