A moment in my life (on hold)

It seems as though time has passed me by.  I know it’s Monday morning right now, and it’s almost 2 in the dark early morning. It’s kind of hard for me to imagine that today is the 1st Monday of October ’10.  Where have I been? I know this is my 1st post, and it’s a very belated one.  I was supposed to have written in September, but for very severe reasons, I wasn’t able to fulfill my duties.  Since this is my personal haven (as I see it), I should be truthful in every way possible. Events in my life will probably start to unwrap in this very blog of mine, but for now, I think I’ll just start somewhere near.

August 26th was the 1st day of classes for Fall ’10, and I was determined to ace all of my 15 credits of classes.  But on the night of September 10th (Friday), something happened (I’ll probably discuss later in other entries) and I was in the hospital until the evening of the 22nd (Wednesday).  I was still in recovery, so I went back to school on Monday, the 27th.  That means I missed 2 weeks worth of classes.  TWO WEEKS.  That’s a good amount of work to catch up on.  I missed a lot of notes (and I don’t know why, no one really seems too happy to lend a girl in need their notes…I wonder how the world got so bitter), and I’m trying to make up anything I missed during my absence.

It’s Monday morning…and I have 2 papers due this Wednesday, one for English, the other for Art History.  The work is still in progress.  This whole week has been so hectic for me, even the weekend.  On Saturday afternoon I went to the Noguchi Museum to become attached to a piece of artwork so that I could write my Art History paper on it.  I looked all around, but couldn’t really find anything that captured my heart.  While I was about to leave, however, I finally found the one.  I will now leave this post with a cliffhanger.  (Actually, I still haven’t uploaded the image of the sculpture or the description of it, so I definitely will do a post on this Noguchi adventure of mine when I have everything saved to my macbook, i’A).  I have a long day today (attending classes + working on papers + trying to catch up with all the missed class work + anything in between and beyond), and it’s 2:35 a.m. now, so I should get some shuteye now.  Good night everyone.
