To start off this awfully gloomy, cold, and breezy Monday morning, here’s a fun short youtube video:
And here’s another one:
Hope this is brightening up your day just a bit. Just for some extra fun, here’s an amazing video of the cabin attendants of an airline in the Philippines doing the expectedly (is that even a word?) unanimated emergency instructions:
When will I ever ride on this kind of flight, I wonder? All airlines should learn from this. Does it serve the purpose of having people pay attention to the important instructions in case of an emergency? Absolutely. Moreover, it’s just plain entertaining! Way to go Cebu Pacific Airlines for incorporating some creativity. Thank you for bringing some color to life.

I watched a water polo game for the first time in my life on Thursday last week. I don’t know why, but there was at least 10 times more people on the benches than any of our games. Is it because we’re not quite hot enough compared to the water polo guys? Well check out our hot roster!!! Or just come see us in action on the court.
Just in case you were too lazy to click on that “hot roster” link:
Come support the women’s volleyball team, watch our games and scream your face off – or just join in on the wave, like we did for the water polo game
Here’s our schedule of home games:
Oct. 5 (This Tuesday) Bloomfield 7:00 PM
Oct. 7 (This Thursday) NYIT * 7:00 PM
Oct. 12 Mercy * 7:00 PM
Oct. 22 Felician 7:00 PM
Oct. 26 Dowling * 7:00 PM
Oct. 28 Concordia (N.Y.) 7:00 PM

Hope you come and support us!
For those of you reading my posts (and are international), there’s also a Green Card Lottery Information Workshop during free hour today (Monday) at 12:15 at the Student Union 301.
Or just come and have a free refreshment. Use your free hours wisely.
I just came upon this: I never had paid attention to a hippo’s bottom before. But extremely educational.
Don’t let the weather Rain On Your Parade.
Cheers,
