I hope everyone is enjoying their break and having a very happy Thanksgiving full of family, fun, and food! There’s nothing better than the Turkey, stuffing, etc. along with some great Thanksgiving football.
I just spent the night with my family at my cousins’ house and had an amazing time. The food was excellent–an enormous turkey, stuffing, corn beef, green beans, and about a million other dishes. There was so much food to eat I could barely find room in my stomach for all of it. Nonetheless, I ate my fair share By the time dessert came, I was stuffed–no pun intended. Again, that didn’t stop me. I dug right into the cakes, the candy, and the fruit. And now I think I’m full for the next week.
This week was a great week of classes and a great lead-in to the holiday. I had class only on Monday and Tuesday, so it was a short week. That was definitely nice. But in particular, that Monday Thanksgiving feast was incredible. I only found out about it about an hour before. Someone told me to go to Student Union floor 4 for a Thanksgiving lunch, and I almost laughed. What the heck were they talking about? And then I decided to amuse myself and see if anything was going on. I was pleasantly surprised. It was probably the best lunch I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Queens!
Hope everyone continues to enjoy their holiday weekend! Happy Turkey day!
