I was just wondering if anyone had any books that are/were a great influence to your life. So far these books have molded me the most:
1)Atlas Shrugged-Ayn Rand
2)Fountainhead-Ayn Rand
3)Self-Reliance and other short essays-Ralph Waldo Emerson
4)On the Road- Jack Kerouac
5)Fight Club- Chuck Palahniuk
6)Anthem- Ayn Rand
7)Awaken the Giant Within- Anthony Robbins (life changer)
When Will Jesus Bring the Pork Chops- George Carlin
9) Love All The People- Bill Hicks
10) The Bible- human beings
11) Complete Works of Shakespeare-William Shakespeare{Author(s) of these knew a lot about the human condition}
12) Animal Farm-George Orwell
13) Lord of the Flies- William Golding
14) The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn- Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens
15) Pretty much anything to do with Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and Albert Einstein
That is my list, please feel free to add some books I should get onto. A great book is like a conversation with some of the greatest minds of humanity. Not something we get everyday, because half the people we know are below average. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and let’s make that last push through finals.
