I just have some random musings this week.

– Security: I think I’ve blogged about this before but I really think something needs to be done about the security on campus. Another theft happened and, quite frankly, it scares me. Theft may not seem like that big of a deal, but the fact of the matter is that it is. It’s much too easy to get on campus. I don’t want the school to wait until someone gets hurt before something is actually done about it.

– The Semester: I love college. I really do. But honestly, I want this semester to end. Finals are coming up, I don’t feel like I’m doing that well in two of my four classes, and the pressure is on. I’m looking forward to a nice, looong break now more than ever.

– CunyFirst: I’m wondering why exactly the transition was made. ESIMS was super simple, and now that I have CUNYFirst it seems a bit more complicated. Also, I don’t see why there are so many workshops to learn how to activate an account. I did it myself at home and it was super easy. We’re all extremely tech-savvy these days; I would have thought workshops were unnecessary.

– The Campus At Sunset: IS BEAUTIFUL. On Tuesday I had to meet with my professor at 4:30 and when I left ten minutes later I was stunned by the sight. I was at the bus stop and when I turned back to look at the campus I saw how the sun was setting and the sky was pink. The windows to Kiely, Student Union, and Jefferson were all lit up, as were the light poles. It was very, very pretty and I wished I had my camera on me. The camera in my phone wouldn’t have done it justice. It just makes me want to dorm more.
