Last Full Week

I can’t believe it. I look at what’s left of this semester–which is a whole boatload of work crammed into a very short amount of time–and I wonder where the time went. This was my first semester at Queens college, and boy did it fly! I’m not sure whether or not the semester has been anything like I expected. The truth is, I don’t know what I was expecting. Personally speaking, my workload was fairly managable overall. I definitely had a decent amount of work, but I tend not to stress over school too much. I often wonder if this semester went well simply because I handled it that way or because I lucked out with a really easy bunch of classes. I’m going to hope it wasn’t just easy classes–because if that’s the case I have a lot more pressure ahead of me when the classes start to get harder.

Now is a frustrating time. We are so close to being done with semester–so close to six weeks of break time–but we have to go through what I’m sure is the most fun part of all: finals. I guess they’re no different than midterms, really, so I’m sure everyone will manage. But I guess I’m getting “cabin fever” studying in my room! It’s especially frustrating when I know a six week period with no school is so close. Oh well… I guess at least I’ll be able to get through the countless hours of studying knowing I have something nice to look forward to. Hope everyone’s not stressing too much and appreciating that this is the last full week of the semester! Good luck to all!
