Winter Break!

It’s Wednesday afternoon right now, and I am finally done with the Fall ’10 semester.  Finally I can take a break from the stress of college courses and finals, and just relax for a while.  I feel so energized from the happiness right now, which is somewhat weird considering yesterday I was about to faint from the overload of work.

Yesterday I slept from 4:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., since I was studying for my upcoming finals that day.  I took my Art History final that I had missed last week because of a confusion of dates, but luckily my Professor teaches a 2nd class, and so I was lucky enough to take my final with that class.

Then came my Women’s Studies final, which was take-home –> but beware!  I would’ve preferred it if it was in-class, since take-homes seem easy but are actually more complex.  I had to write so much to the point that I thought I was losing my mind.  The final result came out to be about 12 pages.  I submitted my final to BlackBoard at around 10:30 p.m., and I was pretty content with my work, even though there was no way to improve the paper since I didn’t have an ounce of energy left in me.  But nonetheless, I was content.

I am happy to say that my cold has been getting better.  I haven’t recovered fully yet, but at least the horrible symptoms are decreasing gradually.

Lastly, I hope everyone has a very safe and happy holiday break!
