Hootenannies!!!!!!! Viva Hootenannies in the school. There’s always so much going on, but it seems like no one ever knows about them. If you do get your emails forwarded from your QC Email account, you get the emails that announce the weeks’ activities held at QC, but really, who goes through that entire email and marks the events down on the calendar? I bet you, not a lot of you.

I don’t know what the issue is – (I believe I brought this up last year too…) – perhaps people don’t know how to get their emails forwarded to their personal account. I can help with this if you need help: (please comment and ask for it to be in the post next week) it’s actually quite an extensive process that’ll require multiple steps that you would never be able to figure out if you weren’t Asian or tech-savvy (same thing). Or perhaps the emails are too cluttered. Especially a lot of the departmental events never get forwarded on. They’re never on the QC emails, and I think that there should be a system where people check off the subjects they’re interested in, and they essentially “subscribe” to the departmental event announcements.

Someone, let’s get this going at QC?! I don’t know really who to talk to- I’d like to get involved more with student affairs, but I don’t know who organizes this stuff. If anyone knows, let me know
