And so the fun begins again! Looks like the semester is catching up on us quickly and really picking up speed. I’ve already taken two midterms and am getting ready for two more. Insanity! It’s so crazy how with the blink of an eye the workload shoots up. It’s gonna be tough–I’m talking long hours at the library doing work. And, naturally, even longer hours of finding ways of doing everything but work (funny how powerful procrastination is). But the good news is that, eventually, spring break will come.
That, however, may hinge on whether or not spring itself will come. The weather has been so inconsistent these past few days, no, weeks, no, months, that there’s really no telling at this point if this bizarre and precipitous winter will ever leave us. Some days, I’ll wake up and look out the window and have a desperate desire to drop right back in bed for the day. Other days, I’ll walk outside as if I’m on summer vacation, soaking up the rare treat that is the sun. And then some days, again, I fear that the world is ending. Like I said, nobody can tell at this point when this craziness will pass. But I think it’s making everybody a little bit SAD (pun completely intended) and it’s time for something more stable and something less… depressing. I wish to everyone good luck with all of these storms–whether they’re rainstorms/snowstorms/hailstorms/other weather related events or midterms (not sure which are more frustrating!). But, I would like to say with confidence that… eventually… they will pass.
