On a lighter note

On a lighter note…

The past couple weekends were glorious. Don’t you think?

At least we’re getting spring back.

Let’s see, I could write about Obama and Osama, but let me be the one person on this planet to NOT talk about that right now.

Let’s talk happy things, a nice change from my previous post. (I don’t even know if that’s possible, with my terrible sense of dry humor…)

Classes are coming to an end, and with two more weeks left, if you get the QC emails forwarded to your regular email account, you would know about the course evaluations that are due sometime in the next decade.

I really don’t care about these things usually, I must be honest, because it takes up so much time, and not only that, but I don’t believe that one person saying something won’t make a difference.
The typical indifference move.

UNTIL……

I take a class that is in need of “SERIOUS IMPROVEMENT” (in caps).

I have had amazing teachers my past two semesters here. I’ve taken all the PLAS requirement courses in two semesters. (On top of Linguistics and Music major courses). If you can imagine what that’s like, just imagine…

Something like…

or this…

Or forget how to spell….

Or be as beautiful as her…

Be poor.

Or simply be the everyday chinaman.

Where your days are replays of conversations like this:

And you question the word “success”

And dream of days like these…

and where a mind like this seems impossible…

Yeah, I think you get my point.

Either way, it sucks, but good thing is, all I have to worry about is another science lab course and then all my other major requirements. (Funny how I make it sound easy… haha..ha…. )

Anyway, my point was, if you have something to say about a teacher, SAY IT.

And if you really really LOVE a teacher, speak up.

Don’t be like me and wait till you get a terrible course taught by an inexperienced and unqualified professor to speak up. And maybe you’ll win something.

Just maybe.
