Waking up

Waking up to a clean room is more than what you think it is.

15 moves in 4 years. 4 x 12 = 48 months.

48/15 = 3.2. Average: 3.2 months/move

Yesterday I opened up boxes that I never opened every since I moved to the New York four years ago. I decorated my room with pandas and finally decided to really settle for the first time. I always wondered why I never actually settled in a place before. I didn’t feel at home enough to want to. I cleaned the George Foreman, wrapped it up, and stored it in a pink plastic box inside my storage closet.

I woke up this morning and there was room. Room to breathe. Room for happiness. Room to relax. Room to live. Most importantly, room to learn. Welcome back to school, it’s a beautiful day.
