My boyfriend and I went to Target today to do some random browsing… and I came across a pair of nude-colored heels (approx. 3″~4″ heels) for only $6.59! They were by Mossimo, and retailed for $39.99. Off the top of my head, I think I currently own 3 pairs of heels, 2 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of flip flips, 1 pair of flats, and 4 pairs of sneakers. Knowing that fact, it made me a little disgust at myself. I already am blessed with more than what I need, so I decided to not by the cute shoes. I feel a bit proud of myself for being able to step away from that potential purchase.
On another note, I found my boyfriend a pair of basketball shorts on Clearance for $3.35, and he refused to wear them (even though I know it would fit him adequately and the style was not bad either), because they were for “Boys.” I don’t understand, do guys really get offended if they wear youth-wear? As a girl, I try flattering myself sometimes by trying on clothes for “Girls.”
P.S. There was was no point to this blog, I just felt the need to express my thoughts in my head.
P.S.S. Target’s having a HUGE clearance sale as most retail stores are clearing out for the fall/winter fashion, so now’s the perfect time to shop.
P.S.S.S. I’m also proud to say that total amount of money spent on my “shoe collection” is less than $100. Pretty cool, huh?
