I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I’m starting to feel the end of the semester creeping up on me. The weather is getting colder, the work is piling up, and everyone’s talking about classes for Spring 2012. There are only really 3 weeks and 2 days until the end of classes, and that fact is a little eye-opening.
It really makes me reflect on how these past few months have been. Honestly, they flew by. While I’m glad the stress of classes will be ending soon, I’m a little sad about stepping away from campus life. Truth be told, I like it.
I feel like I need to get my butt into gear and start working hard until finals week. My GPA isn’t in a place that I want it to be, and I get the sense that I’m really going to have to struggle to fix that. My classes this semester aren’t exactly “Easy A”s. There are papers to write and exams to study for, and it’s all going to take a lot of time and effort.
All of that comes with the ending of a semester and the beginning of a new one with a nice, long break in between. I always look forward to a new semester, yet by the time I’m in the middle of it I can’t wait for it to end. What a contradiction.
As for now, I’m looking forward to the end of this semester. I’m definitely counting down.
