So last Wednesday,  I went on a double date to Blockheads and then to the tree. After a large meal [and a couple of drinks…] we decided we would walk to the tree rather than take the subway or a taxi. We arrived around a quarter past 12 and… THE TREE WAS OFF. That’s right, all the lights were off and the whole area was gated off.  Talk about disappointing.

On a side note, if you want a great place to go with friends, I totally recommend Blockheads.  The food is good, inexpensive and the portions are huge.  They  also have $4 margaritas!
