SIGH.
Mhmm. I understand. Sometimes, life just kicks you where it hurts. When you’re already down. For no reason at all. Whether it’s ten pages of utter torture in the form of intro, graphs, and references, or a test that you’ve bombed spectacularly regardless of the fact that you studied so hard you can practically quote the textbook, or just a lot of little things that pile up into one gigantic mountain of ->
Whatever it may be, sometimes…life kicks you hard.
Unfortunately, that’s how it’s supposed to be. You need the bad stuff so you know what the good stuff is supposed to feel like. Sometimes, it’s okay to just flop on the bed and hang there limply for a while until your brain has knocked itself out from all the mental banging on the wall, and then you push yourself up, smooth down your clothes, and do whatever it is you gotta do. You tell yourself that you did not survive all these years on this planet and endure almost three years of this and countless all-nighters and horrible professors just to give up at one measly ten-page report or one stupid test grade, or one bad week. I don’t think so.
So here’s to rolling up the sleeves and busting out a ten-page paper. Hope you guys are putting last minute touches on assignments before Spring Break officially starts on Monday! Or for those of you whose Spring Break already started on Thursday because your schedule isn’t wacky and spread out all wacky-like, well then…lucky you. Lucky. You.
