Today the percussionists had a mini ragtime music concert outdoors (with only 2 marimbas and one xylophone as the instrumentation!). The idea of having it outside was cute and the music was cute, however the weather was not as cute as they probably expected from a Spring day! It was extremely windy and chilli. In fact it was so windy they had to use clothing pins to keep their music in place. A hilarious sight alright, and not to mention one of their music sheets did fly away at one point. So it was another entertaining little moment in the world of the Aaron Copland School of music which reminded me that soo many good spring concerts are coming up!!! here are just a few——
