Sitting on the quad I see the giant white clouds, with spots of blue peeking through- lowering down to the wondrous view of the Manhattan skyline. In a teasing way, it suggests that you can simply walk across our parking lot and reach the city. The empire state building looks high and almighty, with the Chrysler next to it- a seemingly “mini-me”. A huge chunk of midtown is hidden away by the pine tree, serving as a divider between the Science Building and our beloved library. It is surrounded by a variety of bushes, spraying different shades of green around it. Stairs surround this beauty, almost in a royal way. Up and down, students speed by, in a rush to grab a coffee from our makeshift Starbucks, or to cram in last minute details before a test.
And this, was just from five simple minutes taken to observe our lovely campus. Have you ever seen it this way?
