“What motivates you?”
“My family. My family and my grandfather. My nieces and my nephews. I really want to be that individual that the little kids in my family look up to. And, my grandfather and my mother, they sacrificed so much for me. My grandfather was an immigrant from one of the islands in the Caribbean, and came here with $38 in his pocket and no college education. But he found an apprentice program and began to study electrical engineering. He suffered a lot of racial discrimination, but he found someone who noticed his skills and his work ethic, and took him under his wing. He is always motivating and encouraging me.”
