Halloween….Yes! Yes, Halloween exists here in Japan.

It is celebrated as well, but in a different manner. It is more for gatherings of friends and enjoying time then – celebrating it with friends as we all do in the states. The children, teens, and adults do dress up in costume. It is a night for parties, laughter, fun and even a little mischief.  It’s just that the going door to door trick or treating is canceled out, well unless you go with your parents to Roppongi City for a small taste of what it is like – by trick or treating door to door in stores.

For me this Halloween, I nestled in my bed trying to get rid of this cold.
