Toyko Disney Sea!

Have you ever been to Disney land?  Do you like it there? Then you’d probably enjoy Disney Sea, only in Tokyo, Japan!

I have never been to Disney land, so it was quite fun to go to Disney sea. I am planning to go to Disney land sometime later, but who knows if it would happen. There’s just too much going on, on top of going to school. When did I fit in the time to go to Disney Sea? Right after class! AHaha~! That is right, right after class I headed straight to Disney Sea, took the train and got there in about an hour or so. It wasn’t so bad. I got to go on and do the things I wanted to do. It really is a themed amusement part though…Which means most of the attraction is family oriented, and not for the thrill ride seeker – not at all.

After the train you take the Disney train to Disney Sea!

Even though I am a thrill ride seeker, it was still an enjoyable place to be. Lot of people with Micky Mouse headbands, or Disney themed hats walking around – funny thing was I saw them heading to Disney, they were wearing them before reaching the grounds of Disney! Over zealous Disney fans, you will probably love it. And right next door to Disney Sea, is Disney Land!

Currently it is Christmas themed Disney.

When you get hungry, you can eat a variety of flavored popcorn; like strawberry, chocolate, caramel, or black pepper. You can pick up a Micky Mouse shaped Churro. Or if you don’t feel like eating a snack, stop by one of the themed restaurants, they have Italian, old New York City, Arabian, Mexican…Oh, and they have one that’s a fancy restaurant type with 3 course meals from 7000yen, equivalent to $80.

For the thrill seeker, there is pretty much only two or three rides here that would make you thirst for more. It really isn’t worth it if you come here expecting a lot of rides, but it is worth it for the experience. And the fireworks are gorgeous. They also have themed performances, currently there is an additional performance for Christmas. It’s about 5500yen, give or take a little more with or without discounts, for the day. The lines are horrid, varies from 10 min – 80min, depending on which ride you want to get on. Take advantage of it with the fast pass system, closes at 6pm to prevent the late comers from using it as well. Late comers are people who decide to go after 6pm, the ticket price is cut almost in half. The fast pass system isn’t like the fast pass you might know. You have to scan your ticket into a machine of the ride you want to go on, and you can reserve a time. You have to do that to all the rides you want to go on, hopefully they would have more fast pass tickets available for you.

For me this one day was enough to enjoy. Now I hope going to Disney Land would be a different experience, no volcano erupting fire there right?
