Pandora saves music

When will the music industry collapse under the steaming piles of crap that are being vomited out from “musicians” today?  I am usually one for evolution and cutting edge in artistic avenues, but the music today has “beats” that make me feel like I’m having a seizure, lyrics that are downright anti-imagination, and an attitude of entitlement.  The radio has become mind-numbing noise instead of mood-enhancing, thought-provoking, or any other desired means-to-an-end the consumer desires.  Well that’s unless you’re in the mood for sex(the cheap stuff to be had while in the club), status(I don’t care what car you drive or how much bling you have), or some whimsical fairy-tale love story (i.e. Taylor Swift); then the radio is playing what you want.

Where are the artistic musicians?  One’s that could lyrically tell a story that every listener could relate to and make their own.  Or one’s that can actually sing?  Aside from Lady Gaga, all the music on the radio has morphed into the “Pop” genre.  Thank heavens for Pandora being able to introduce musicians that aren’t too well known or I would never listen to any music past 2005.  I’ve finally found stations I can turn to and turn off the drivel on the radio.  Thank you to the guy who solved that problem.  And thank you Jay-Z.
